The Duke's a wonderful little back street pub in Clerkenwell / Holborn.
It looks as if nothing has changed here since the 1930s, and possibly little has. It's grade II listed and it's also on Camra's national inventory of pubs. https://t.co/N4I3ngFVOI
@angrypiln Wondering if this is one of those cases where the letters page in a local paper comes up short so an enterprising sub writes something mildly contentious with a fake name in the hope of generating a bigger inbox for next week?
Hi @StagecoachSouth, if you're going to cancel a bus could you at least get a message on the digital screens at bus stops? There's nothing like a 75 min wait on a hot day. Number 9 bus sidmouth-exeter vanished and there are 10 people waiting for it. Thanks.
Quick #rant about #media priorities. @daveryding wins Britain's first world cup gold in alpine skiing - six paragraphs on the @BBCNews app. Meanwhile William Wragg MP (still) accusing govt of blackmail - 26 paragraphs

@philmellows@jaegawise@DropBearBeer Best thing you could say is that pubs stock a larger range than you would expect and you can help your local buy buying AF at the bar. January us a really sifficult time for pubs, pks do what you can to help them.
Hi @BracknellForest one of the trees in Dartmouth Close has been knocked over, I think by a truck which is replacing roof tiles on council houses. Any chance it can be re-planted quickly before the fruit on it dies?
