Hi @VodafoneUK thanks SO MUCH for your support when my phone was stolen - support agent so painfully obviously working from a script, and I know that maintenance needs to happen but you need to be able to blacklist stolen phones IMMEDIATELY at any time 24/7, in 2-3hrs is PATHETIC
@soundsmythprod Lungbarrow changed DW for me forever, I love it. The Witch Hunters broke me. Killing Ground is grim and gripping. Festival of Death is total genius. The Shadow in the Glass is an absolute classic and a remarkable achievement considering how quickly it was written.
Idea for a play: Chasing Hare
In which David Hare is chased through a succession of scenes from contemporary plays, the very existence of which he finds objectionable. What is he running from? The future. Will he be caught? He already has been…
It’s 2am and my eyes are falling out doing catering lists and all the other million tasks that used to be 2 years away and now suddenly it’s like 19 days, BUT I’m going to try to articulate a thought about spending 3.5 years organising a same sex wedding… 🧵/
@derekbond Sorry, just to clarify... @HMRCcustomers@HMRCgovuk incorrectly announce, publicly, that the grant is not taxable, then @ace_national tell HMRC it is taxable so now it's taxable?? What a shambles, messing with people's lives. UNACCEPTABLE INCOMPETENCE
@Enny_Taylor@BlueBoxBlur@_cosmicangst As for the educational angle, there are plenty of examples throughout classic Who, not just Hartnell's era... and Doctor Who has always focused on contemporary social issues, The Green Death & Remembrance of the Daleks to name just two examples twenty years apart
@Enny_Taylor@BlueBoxBlur@_cosmicangst I enjoyed Flux but it felt less like Doctor Who than any other modern series IMO 🤷🏼♂️ whereas S11 may not have been an amazing series, but it felt like back-to-basics Who in the classic style (no grand story arc, self-contained stories, educational slant etc) and I appreciated that
@AbercusD@DavidLammy@Keir_Starmer@UKLabour 1. You don't understand how income tax works.
2. £1200pcm for a one-bed is nowhere near representative of most of the country.
3. What's your point? That £10 isn't enough? You may well be right, but why attack the opposition for suggesting any increase?
@VodafoneUK @neilio_uk Pathetic response & hopeless customer service from @VodafoneUK ... this should have been communicated to customers well in advance. Can I cancel my contract now as a key service has been removed without warning? (Well done for 4G on half the Jubilee though, here have a medal 🏅)
