Gabriel Clarke’s two interviews with Thomas Tuchel and Jude Bellingham were dreadful. Tuchel was very clear in his praise for England’s strength of character but he wasn’t happy with the performance. Clarke failed to understand Tuchel’s mentality comments. He then gave a misleading follow up to Bellingham which suggested to Bellingham that Tuchel was unhappy with the team. Unnecessarily disruptive and the wrong context of interviewing in two separate interviews.

In previous years, at lower levels, match day revenue was a high proportion of total revenue. But not now in the Prem - an extra £100 per ST generates just 2.4m around 1.5% of total revenue. I do wonder why clubs risk alienating fans for what won't buy a leg of a prem player.

@mgreenwells Agree 100% with this comment… English clubs should follow German model and charge much less. City needs ALL fans onside and a 12th man behind the team to have any chance of survival this season. Alienating a significant % of them for a small monetary gain is short sighted imo🤷‍♂️
