A dangerous chain reaction unfolds on I-15 in Utah as heavy rain and excessive speed lead to multiple crashes within moments of each other.

Utah Highway Patrol says troopers, a sheriff's deputy and medical personnel were already responding to a rollover when another vehicle slammed into patrol cars at the scene. Moments later, a third vehicle lost control and rolled in the southbound lanes.

Those injured were taken to a nearby hospital, according to authorities.

Flames rip across roughly 13,000 acres outside Reno after officials say human activity triggered the massive Hawk Fire.

Firefighters have yet to contain any part of the blaze, which is threatening roughly 1,000 homes and has prompted evacuations for about 42,000 residents.

Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo has declared a state of emergency as crews continue battling the inferno.

It comes after Sophie Cunningham said women's sports should remain female, while several WNBA players and coaches have said they would welcome transgender athletes.

"If simply declaring who you are is all that’s required, then I meet every requirement necessary to compete in the WNBA," Freedom says.
