Trump has raised $4 million on GoFundMe for Hurricane victims. But wait, 3% of it only as indicated in fine prints. Whoopee, $120,000 for victims and $3,880,000 in trump’s pockets. Gotta love this America.
In the 1970/80's Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher got rid of taxes for the richest and sold off all your Public Services.
Since then your taxes have increased, their untaxed profits have soared, and your now Private Services have crumbled.
Under Tony Abbott’s leadership, Peter Dutton cut $50 billion from hospitals, established the Medicare Privatisation taskforce, attempted to introduce the GP co-payment, and was voted Australia’s worst health Minister in four decades by Australia’s doctors.
ONLINE EXCLUSIVE: "A former senior Liberal asked me this week: whatever happened to the Liberal Party’s commitment to developing substantial policies? I had to admit the current Coalition seems to believe it doesn’t need such things," writes @JohnRHewson. https://t.co/pa7KoBZthT
It’s now obvious R&LMurdoch media and Dutton/LNP want our domestic police forces to go in and crack the heads of Australians and any visa holders protesting against the bloodbaths in Gaza and Lebanon. Incitement to violence actually assists terrorist recruitment. It’s dangerous. We need counter terrorism rhetoric and leadership @AlboMP@PeterDutton_MP
There was a report on 7:30 tonight on urgent care clinics that Labor has opened, on how they’re taking pressure off the ED. Those urgent care clinics will be closed if the Liberal Party win the next election. That’s not shit talk. That’s history. Bulk billing centres covered by Medicare is a Labor legacy. And it always has been. Why were so many closed under nearly 10 years of the LNP? It was so bad that Dan had to open some in Victoria. When primary care is a federal government responsibility. In a cost-of-living crisis, not having to pay to see a GP is a big help. Urgent care clinics are open on weekends and after hours. The former federal government destroyed Medicare. Things are turning around with Medicare. It will be all undone if Peter Dutton becomes prime minister. Remember what he did when he was health minister? Made savage cuts. That’s also history. He did that. He actually did that.
Hey I have a good idea, Lets set up a Government owned Electricity company and a government owned Gas company where the shareholders are the Australian people and their dividend is cheaper Electricity and gas prices. (and yes I knew it used to be the case)
Thank you @AlboMP@AustralianLabor and especially @JEChalmers@SenKatyG
💥 For my pension rise today 💥 ✅✅
Gee i remember when the last LNP gov under Morrison, Dutton, Taylor, Ley, Hume, Fletcher & Co froze them. 👎😖
Then gave Harvey Norman & his mates 40 billion $$$s ...🤦♂️
Nationals decimated in Tamworth Council Elections.
Former NSW Nats Chairman and Barnaby Joyce’s best friend Bede Burke not re-elected.
Only one Nat left after having control of last Council.
Mayor National Russell Webb likely to lose mayoral role.
Anyone else totally pissed off to find out that Australia was sucked into the biggest scam in history (AUKUS) because Bozo Johnson wanted to get back at President Macron?
Profit margins at Coles and Woolworths were in line with major overseas supermarkets in 2008. Now they’re the highest in the world https://t.co/HuWyskHT2y
#abc730 with the shadow minister for energy, Susan ‘smug’ McDonald absolutely playing down Dutton’s nuclear strategy by pushing gas, gas, gas .. mainly fracking .. but gas, gas, gas, nevertheless. 🙄
We apparently should be “embracing” ALL of our resources according to Susan - which includes coal 🙄 .. and not for the short term.
McDonald continued to hold the “no detail” Dutton line and not reveal any details on costings for nuclear - or for that matter, any costings on gas, gas, gas.
So as Ferguson gives another coalition lackey yet another free pass….I can tell you something about Australia’s gas, gas, gas….
John fkn Howard and his coalition government gave our natural gas resources away to the Chinese at rock-bottom prices - leaving very little for Australian consumers - and what was left of our own gas we were paying for at increased prices 🙄
So don’t talk to us about a coalition gas policy, Susan McDonald - particularly one without any fkn costings.
