Hard to believe it’s true, but today marks 20 years for me @NBCNews. It has been an exhilarating and exhausting ride and I could not be more grateful for all of the unique experiences I’ve had and all the incredible colleagues I’ve been able to learn from and work alongside. From Baghdad to Bande Aceh, Beijing to the Briefing Room, I never imagined I’d get to witness history quite like this. I owe a lot of people thanks, but none more than Alison and our girls who have supported me in this unforgettable journey. Here’s to many more.
Lisa, thank you for this incredibly thoughtful note. As my dad taught us, family first, the rest is details. I promise you I’m anything but “perfect.” (Just ask my 13yo daughter.) But I sure as hell am a proud dad and brother. Here’s the link if you’d like donate: https://t.co/VE05VO88nk
My sincerest thanks to you.
This morning, @lawler4ny joins the chorus of Congressional Republicans questioning the recent string of departures from the Pentagon during an interview with @PeterAlexander.
As President Trump began his news conference stateside… in Davos, we spotted the words “NO KINGS” - in all caps - glowing on the mountainside overlooking the World Economic Forum site where Trump speaks tomorrow.
We are proud to share that @NBCNews Chief White House Correspondent @PeterAlexander is the recipient of a Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Political Journalism.
Congratulations, @PeterAlexander!

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt says it is not a rescission of the federal freeze, it’s simply a rescission of the memo:
“In light of the injunction, OMB has rescinded the memo to end any confusion on federal policy created by the court ruling and the dishonest media coverage. The Executive Orders issued by the President on funding reviews remain in full force and effect and will be rigorously implemented by all agencies and departments. This action should effectively end the court case and allow the government to focus on enforcing the President’s orders on controlling federal spending. In the coming weeks and months, more executive action will continue to end the egregious waste of federal funding.”
The Oval Office is being turned over right now, a West Wing source tells me.
President Biden's circular rug has been replaced with the same rug President Trump used in his first term, the sunburst-patterned rug Nancy Reagan designed for her husband.
Grateful for @mitchellreports - who today announced she’ll soon step down as anchor of the longest-running program on daytime @msnbc. Andrea has been a one-of-a-kind mentor and friend.
