@thesnookerhall @JoshThomond_147 @SnookerForce @WeAreWST That’s why a lot of the Australian players would win the competition and not take their Tour Card, thus leaving Oceania underrepresented. Maybe that’s why they changed it to Asia Pacific instead. I hope Paul does, maybe he can move back!

That’s why I went, I knew it would never happen again and it was an experience to have. Andres, Josh, or myself wouldn’t be able to enter this now

@JoshThomond_147 @SnookerForce @thesnookerhall @WeAreWST It’s only open to people who have registered addresses or live in Asia Pacific areas. Even the English players entering will have bases in Australia so that’s making them eligible. Paul Norris has lived in Australia for quite a few years now

@Nick_Metcalfe Agreed it has nothing in common with a proper ranking event. But I do like how it can change the season for 1 or 2 players. Like keeping Liam Graham on tour, giving Alfie his card back, plus some of the other surprises in the past. At the very least, it’s great for stories 😆
