@sianharries_ It depends upon how you define ill? If you have a degenerative disease for example, there will be milestones in your degeneration each of which will take that much more of your independence which is difficult to accept, more embarrassing and you feel more worthless at every stage

@Petrie_JohnC @mrjamesob The other problem being that the hard of thinking blame their Leftie Labour Councils for the lack of housing, education etc as Westminster constantly remind them that these things are their responsibility and they need to budget responsibly. Especially in the devolved nations.

@sharrond62 I share the view there should be a transgender category in all things in the interest of equality. What I don't understand is why there aren't any trans men complaining about not competing in male competition? Would they be doing so if they had their own category to compete in?

When Sharon was competing her opponents were women and therefore competing on a level playing field, give or take the odd drugs cheat maybe? Whether those women chose to turn up their choice Sharon definitely would have lost to a man claiming to be a woman.

@Lucy_Webster_ I use metal straws from Amazon. You need to be very careful with hot drinks though as it's very easy to burn your lips quite badly!
