BREAKING: The Liberal government, egged on by Mark Carney, violated the Charter rights they claim to revere.
In particular, they violated the fundamental freedom to expression protected by Section 2 and the freedom from unreasonable seizure protected by Section 8 of the Charter.
This is now a matter of fact, established by two separate Federal courts.
Will the Liberals now apologize for violating the basic rights of Canadians?
@SylviaUbell@LeslynLewis The same way you might expect to for someone who has been diagnosed with (or is clearly showing signs of) a different disorder (DID, sciz.) You’re upholding the dignity of the human being, not the disorder.
How the fuck are they calling the election with barely any of the polls counted?
Like, the vast majority of the seats in Ontario have about 3/200 polls counted in each seat.
Wtf?

The question I planned for Mark Carney the English debate was:
"Do you regret recommending the Trudeau government unconstitutionally freeze bank accounts during COVID?"
When he brought in the riot police to remove us last night, I very conveniently got my answer.
If it’s not illegal to throw $150M at a national broadcaster a few weeks before an election which the broadcaster is intensely covering, it darn well ought to be.
The message that this sends is clear:
- Unfavored peaceful protestors who embarrass the regime will have the book thrown at them.
- Favoured protestors (even when violent) have license to do as they please.
Political prosecutions are a VERY slippery slope.
@ShaunRickard67@GiveSendGo@jacobawells How about consequences for people who doxed & shared info they KNEW was stolen & used it to persecute & harm the victims?
Gilmore says she was fired due to mean Conservatives.
Here’s another possibility…..and hear me out….
Someone at CTV/Bell Media realized that having a rabid partisan who gets basic facts wrong perform the role of “fact checker” was a really bad idea.
I mean, could be.
Thoughts?
Conservative signs are being taken down in Oakville. Down the same street, Liberal signs are allegedly being left up.
This appears to be a by-law officer in an official Oakville vehicle.
The fact that the Liberal Party has not yet dropped Paul Chiang as their candidate is as disturbing as the fact that he has also not been charged with a criminal offence. This is a very bad look for a 'rule of law' country.

"We have a Liberal MP saying that a Canadian citizen should be handed over to a foreign dictatorship to get a bounty so that citizen could be murdered. And Mark Carney says he should stay on as a candidate. What does that say about whether Mark Carney would protect Canadians?"

@ferryman4747@Ev0140 What do you mean “weren’t allowed?” The first group of sikhs to come to through a few years after (British Indian army soldiers) were welcomed and respected - before this there was no impetus or desire for Indians to emigrate until the region was better known and word spread.
