Today I had the opportunity to visit the housing project in Macassar, where the @CityofCT municipality is constructing 2,469 homes for the residents of Ward 109.

I have taken action by inviting the electricity department within the City of Cape Town municipality to join us in our ward tomorrow to deal with non-functioning street lights.

For the past two days, I have dedicated my time to conducting on-site evaluations to assess the impact of severe weather in our ward and to understand the needs of those affected by these conditions.

I had the privilege of speaking at a youth event. I took the opportunity to thank the fathers present for the important roles they play in the lives of our children. I also encouraged young people to take advantage of the opportunities available to them to ensure success in life.
