Opinion: It’s a bit rich for Anthony Albanese to call for the temperature to be lowered when his own office is accused of circulating a dirt sheet about the critically injured MP. Read on: https://t.co/lG5iB6MbWm
How much more grubby can Australian politics get?
Australians have every right to question who gets taxpayer money.
But when Helen Haines questioned Albanese’s community sports grants, his office circulated a dirt sheet attacking her integrity. It’s despicable.
And the Liberals play the same grubby game.
In August, The Australian newspaper identified two “dirt unit” researchers working in Angus Taylor’s office.
And a Labor strategist was recently quoted about having dirt sheets on One Nation, saying: “We’ve got a lot on One Nation … But unlike the Liberals we’re holding it back.”
A Labor MP was reported last month saying: “Throwing shit at them risks making them more popular.”
Read that again. This is how they talk about attacking their opponents behind closed doors.
They can’t defend their records. They can’t sell their policies. So they feed dirt to the media and trash reputations.
The major parties have taken turns running our country into the ground. Australians are struggling to pay their bills while the major parties use taxpayer-funded staff to shovel dirt.
Australians deserve politicians focused on their lives, their families and their futures.
Instead, they get an incompetent, dishonest government and an opposition playing the same dirty games.
Our country deserves better.
He used taxpayer funds in an attempt to ruin Helen Haines political career only a few weeks ago and on Monday night he called her ‘A beacon of light’ with ‘the highest integrity’. We all have been let down so badly. My god, no wonder Australia is tanking so hard.
BREAKING: Here's the metadata for the dirt sheet Albanese shopped around against Australian MP Helen Haines in the weeks leading up to the far-left terror attack on her life.
Metadata says it was written in Word on an Australian Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C) system by the account "Lloyd, Joshua".
Joshua Lloyd is Deputy Director of Communications to the Prime Minister of Australia.
Great to know Josh spent 2 hours working on the document. Great use of my taxpayer money you bunch of fucking clowns. Thanks for toning down the temperature and uplifting the civility of our national body politic @AlboMP
THIS SHOULD END ALBANESE’S LEADERSHIP. It’s getting huge traction on my insta & facebook. It’s a massive story. All we can assume is mainstream media are silent because Labor Government have bought them with money they have added to taxpayer debt. It would be sad to be a main stream journalist in Australia in 2026.
If all @elonmusk & @Tesla did with this launch is inspire the next generation that "the impossible is possible" then the world is already in a better place. 🙏

DEAR AUSTRALIANS‼️
I love your beautiful, rugged and unique country and culture. Literally EVERY Aussie I have met ALL over the world has an open mind, is adventurous and trusting in the goodwill of humanity. It is a wonderful trait that I admire and envy greatly.
But your ELECTED LEADERS continue to ABUSE your TRUST and YOUR GOODWILL by STEALING AWAY your LIBERTIES; YOUR FREE SPEECH, YOUR GUNS, and THEN allowing the IMMIGRATION of people who HATE WESTERN CIVILIZATION and have NO INTENTION of ASSIMILATING to your culture.
This is even a greater BETRAYAL than what your TYRANNICAL Government did to ALL Australians during the cruel and inhuman (and unnecessary) Covid lockdowns.
It is my sincere hopes that the people of Australia will WAKE up and reclaim your rights and VOTE OUT these AUTHORITARIAN ASSH@LES!
Good on ya,
Love
Rob
Nobody hands you a manual for managing a parent’s administrative affairs.

Nobody hands you a manual for managing a parent’s administrative affairs.
Many of us have looked after a loved one’s affairs and know how time consuming and emotionally draining it can be. If not, you eventually will.
I decided to spend more time back in Australia as my stepfather had been diagnosed with Parkinsons and since my mother passed away he was on his own. Overnight you realise you've become a project manager hunting through websites, payment notices, bank statements, council rates, telcos and a growing list of passwords you don’t have.
The first brick wall I hit was not understanding the nuance between a Power of Attorney and an Enduring Guardianship. One covers financial and administrative matters, government departments, banks, telcos. Without it, no one will deal with you. Without an Enduring Guardianship, doctors, hospitals, specialists won’t release health records.
Caring for a loved one administratively isnt one problem. Its thirty problems that don't connect. Federal and State Government departments don’t talk to their counterparts. Meanwhile, you’ve got to get on with your own life and nobody warns you about the emotional toll that slowly sneaks up on you.
What you work out pretty quickly is that this isnt a sprint; its a navigation problem. Having spoken to many people in a similar position, I was surprised by their reaction, Groans, frustration and some were just plain angry. I asked whether anyone had built a website or app and surprisingly, no one had; even globally, which I found strange given the reaction I was getting.
So I built Navikin (https://t.co/JlYvofajeK). You get a dashboard with a clear checklist, sorted into categories. Federal and State Government come with official contact numbers and links already built in. I’ve also added categories like Banking, Digital, Financials, Professionals, and more, where you can add your own contacts. In every category, you can clear a task as done, set a reminder with a note to follow up, mark it as ‘Doesn’t Apply,’ and track your progress, all in one place.
From my own experience, I decided to build the website first rather than an app as most of the work happens at the laptop, and it also allowed me to move faster early on.
Navikin is free and available only in Australia and New Zealand, with other countries being added. I’ll also be adding an app once I get feedback, and sending out weekly tips. Love to hear your feedback and your own experiences.
Cheers, Peter
Ps: Navikin (Navigate / Kin)

I do not normally respond to things like this, but this one genuinely hurt.
Richmond Reading Room is my local coffee shop. I have been going there since it opened. I have always been greeted warmly, enjoyed stopping in, and deliberately chosen to spend my money there because I believe strongly in supporting local Tasmanian small businesses.
So to see this post today came as a complete shock.
Apparently, while I was being welcomed through the door and buying my coffee, I was privately regarded with such contempt that the business has now made this public announcement.
If the owners had an issue with me coming into their business, why not simply talk to me? I am a person. I am a local. I am a customer who has supported your business for years.
You do not have to agree with my politics. I would never expect you to. But surely we have reached a pretty sad place when someone's political beliefs determine whether their presence or their custom is considered acceptable.
What makes this particularly disappointing is that I have always believed in supporting small local businesses regardless of the political views of the people who own them. I do not ask how somebody votes before I buy a coffee from them. I do not expect everyone I meet to agree with me. That is part of living in a free and diverse community.
The irony of preaching inclusion while publicly singling out customers because of their political association is difficult to ignore.
At least I now know where I stand.
I will continue supporting local Tasmanian businesses, just not businesses that publicly make people feel unwelcome because they happen to hold different political views, despite claiming to be for inclusivity.
We can disagree politically and still treat each other with basic respect. I genuinely wish that courtesy had been extended to me.
BREAKING: In a script that couldn’t be written, the lights have GONE OUT at the Pre COP climate summit in Fiji as renewable energy goes bust.
You cannot make this up.
The Australian government just threw a $150 million “pre COP”
climate conference in the Pacific, and the power went completely out, killing the air conditioning and leaving delegates sweating in the heat.
The supreme irony? Co hosts PM Anthony Albanese and Energy Minister Chris Bowen are constantly lecturing everyone about transitioning to 100% renewables.
Yet, the moment they host a massive global summit to brag about it, the lights go dark, using you guessed it - renewable power.
Even independent MP Zali Steggall and the Opposition are calling it a “farce” and a “diplomatic embarrassment”
If they can’t even keep the AC running for their own photo op, how is anyone supposed to trust them to run an entire power grid?
Absolute clown show.
