Dr. Andrew “Andy” Armacost, named 13th President of the University of North Dakota, met with UND student leaders even before he went back into the State Board of Higher Education meeting to be formally introduced as UND’s newest leader. THAT’S dedication to students.

The State Board of Higher Education has selected Dr. Andrew Armacost as the 13th president of the University of North Dakota. The Board interviewed three finalists at their meeting Tuesday, Dec. 3, on the UND campus. A total of 61 applications were received for the position.
