Firstly, you need to identify the gap in the legislation then handwrite,print or type your petition in official languages and address the petition to the relevant clerk of the house. You must satisfy no pending matter in court about the same issue.
Section 4(1)A petition to the National Assembly or the Senate shall be— (a)submitted to the Clerk of the relevant House by the petitioner; or
(b)presented by a member of the National Assembly or the Senate on behalf of a petitioner, with the consent of the relevant Speaker.

Daktari, I believe the same article provides that its the parliament to enact the provisions for the procedure. Thus we have Senate Standing orders and Parliament enacted the Petitions to Parliament (Procedure) Act (No. 12 of 2012).
“Every person has a right to petition Parliament to consider any matter within its authority, including to enact, amend or repeal any legislation.”
Article 119, CoK

@SylviaKangara Very interesting,
What if the office you work for is near a liquor store and maybe the employer pays you from office, does the law prohibit that or it envisages instances where the employer and employee are in a pub only?
I need you to congratulate yourself on a regular basis. Do not wait for the outcome.. the process itself, is what truly matters. You don’t just fly from one point to another.. you work for it. Now that energy/effort you put in daily.. deserves a round of applause! Keep pushing.
moreso on free movement of persons where the protocol requires members of partner states to move freely without restrictions on visa requirements but still some partner states require one to produce a visa.

I think as EAC we are not ready for the Common Currency because the EAC integration process should be progressive as stipulated under Article 5(2) of the Treaty for the Establishment of the EAC and on look of things we are yet to fully implement the EAC common Market protocol,
