💥 Combat summary of the Legion “Freedom of Russia”. October, 2024.

In October, the combat units of the Legion “Freedom of Russia” together with other units of the DIU “Artan”, “Kraken”, International Legion conducted a successful operation to clear 400 hectares of forest in the north of Kharkiv region. As a result of planned actions managed to capture the enemy defense area, destroy 3 motorized rifle battalions, a detachment “storm” and a reconnaissance company of 7 separate motorized rifle regiment of the 11th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

📍Kharkiv region:

Pilots of the Legion's 1st BpAC Company conducted reconnaissance of enemy troop locations and corrected artillery fire of both the Legion and adjacent units. The Legion's company of strike BpAKs struck at places where occupants congregated and knocked out enemy communications. Fighters of the sabotage and reconnaissance group “D.R.U.G.” held the repulsed positions.

During the fulfillment of combat tasks our brothers “Sokar” and “Sparrow” were wounded. Thanks to the coordinated work of the twins during all phases of the evacuation and the perseverance of the doctors in the hospitals, they are well on their way to recovery.

personnel losses - 39, TBMs - 2, artillery systems - 2, vehicles - 3, firing positions - 3, military communications equipment - 4, tank - 1 (damaged), TBM - 1 (damaged).

📍 Behind the scenes:

Scheduled training of Legion recruits continues, who will join the unit's fighting force in the near future, after completing the training course.

🕯 During the performance of combat missions in Kharkov region three of our brothers were killed: “Fartovy”, “Leshy” and “Gandhi”. Eternal memory!
