A man who was plainly unqualified for the role - even before his apparent fabrications became known - yet was fawned over by the progressive establishment as though he were some kind of stellar intellectual. Academic integrity was - inexcusably - subordinated to political ideology. The scandal really ought to sound the death knell for the entire DEI racket.

Universities do not exist to promote "marginalized voices." They do not exist to promulgate social engineering experiments. They do not exist to engage in social justice activism. A university exists to expand the boundaries of human knowledge, to defend truth, and to create an ecosystem for intellectual enrichment.
