I would truly feel empathy for Fauci but, in truth, in thousands of pages of emails and daily logs, he never once expressed or apparently felt any empathy for the anyone else his decisions affected, except the rich and famous. His behavior was sociopathic throughout.
Ok. It’s 2:07 on a Friday afternoon, and still no ICAC transcript from Thursday afternoon’s hearing. That’s highly unusual, especially given they’re using dictation software for the transcripts.
Which is more likely:
1. It’s been held back so that it can be leaked to Kate McClymont ahead of anyone else seeing it; or
2. It’s supposed to have been put up on their website, but they allocated the task to the same numpty who (unauthorised) put up Gladys’ private testimony?
The funniest part of this whole thing is that Arday was like “so I had 6 or 7 rare diseases and ran a marathon on one leg every day for 12 years straight and also one time a medicine woman told me I was the messiah” and the brain trust at Cambridge was like “yeah ok checks out.”
Latest revelation: on a 2023 podcast, Jason Arday claimed that he had been awarded an MBE for his charity work but turned it down because to have accepted it would have compromised his integrity. Curiouser and curiouser. https://t.co/X4cXqPyzoT
Anthony Fauci's own emails prove it: publicly he dismissed the lab leak theory, privately he admitted it was plausible. That is not science. That’s the very definition of a cover up.
The more you read into the Arday case, the more staggering it becomes. A man who was plainly unqualified for the role - even before his apparent fabrications became known - yet was fawned over by the progressive establishment as though he were some kind of stellar intellectual. Academic integrity was - inexcusably - subordinated to political ideology. The scandal really ought to sound the death knell for the entire DEI racket.
Spare a thought for the kids who absolutely slogged their guts out to secure an almost impossible place at Cambridge, and then took on tens of thousands of pounds of perilous student loan debt, only to find themselves being tutored by a total fraud. What a vile fucking country this has become.
Universities do not exist to promote "marginalized voices." They do not exist to promulgate social engineering experiments. They do not exist to engage in social justice activism. A university exists to expand the boundaries of human knowledge, to defend truth, and to create an ecosystem for intellectual enrichment. Once a university optimizes the wrong variables, we end up with the parasitized minds that we now see populating academia, business, politics, journalism, culture, etc. The West in general and the US in particular were founded on a set of key ideals that are unique to human history. Do not presume that these ideals are the default reality. There is always a tsunami of miscreants who are working day and night to end our liberties and freedoms, and destroy these ideals. Be vigilant. Fight for our civilization. Activate your inner honey badger.
Cambridge professor is upset about the reputational damage the Jason Arday debacle has done to Critical Race Studies. Of course, the real scandal is the reputational damage Critical Race Studies will continue doing to Cambridge.
It is important to understand that DEI is not simply an admin arm of higher ed but an ideological apparatus that grew from a body of academic literature. In 2018, @HPluckrose, @ConceptualJames, @MikeNayna, & I exposed the DEI-related fields as totally fraudulent. THREAD
I suppose an explanation is in order.
Was on SocMed up until June 2025.
Get a job offer to work for Ley.
I take it.
CoS says I have to delete all my SocMed.
I use the trick to deactivate X, then before the 30 days are up, reactivate and deactivate.
Do that for like seven months.
Go to Melb for a trip and forget it’s the reactivation day.
X did full auto delete of my pearls of wisdom back to 2012 or so.
X can’t/won’t revive old account.
Ley dumped, Phelps sacked.
Phelps back on the Toots.
Almost any so-called university grouping ending in "studies" is fake and little more than a make-work scheme for third rate Gramscians and Marxist vanguardists who couldn’t get real jobs in real faculties and departments.
Don’t let the dogpiling of Jason Arday distract from the fact that he’s not an aberration. Cultural Studies departments across the Western world are riddled with Ardays. It’s a deeply ingrained problem that universities seem unable to address.
