Raskin says he heard directly from Republicans on the House floor that the right-wing believes Kevin McCarthy set up today’s inquiry hearing to fail.
Raskin: They couldn’t believe that such a disaster would just happen by accident
What a remarkable paragraph from @PunchbowlNews. Republicans will inevitably impeach Biden *no matter what the facts show,* because the facts cannot be permitted to validate his innocence, even if they do.
That gives away the whole game.
This is an amazing and utterly damning piece about the thoroughly corrupt and heartless Clarence Thomas. Kudos to @Dahlialithwick and @mjs_DC https://t.co/csOhcBTg6T
This is basically a Rico indictment of the Republican Party. As it should be. Every Republican elected official who refused to acknowledge the winner of the 2020 election is an unindicted co-conspirator.
NEW: Florida just approved PragerU Kids’ right-wing propaganda videos for use in public school classrooms. There's copaganda, celebrations of colonialism, and more. Follow along for some lessons DeSantis et al are foisting on students.

Hunter Biden has already been mentioned at least 104 times *this morning* on Fox News and Fox Business, according to a transcript search. It's not 10am eastern yet.
BREAKING overnight: Rudy Giuliani concedes in a court filing that he made “false” statements about Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss and no longer contests the factual allegations in their defamation lawsuit.

Lots of discussion of Floridas new African-American history curriculum, especially that line about slavery helping slaves develop skills which they might be able to use for their own benefit. Is that like representative? How is the curriculum as a whole? Well, I’ve read …
What I find lamentable about DeSantis’s curriculum is the strong echo of antebellum pro-slavery ideology it contains, apportioning credit to the slaveholders and the slave system for supposedly improving enslaved people. I’ll explain.
