Agriculture is powered by people.
Different paths, and a shared purpose of strengthening our future.
Today, we celebrate everyone who’s part of Canadian agriculture. 🍁

I think farmers need to use their pencil more and not give an order to the first salesman that comes to the door. My seed prices will remain the same or lower than last year! You need to look at the third party data that comes out and not the one sided plot data!
Harvest Season Reminder for Brant County Roads
This time of year, our dedicated farmers are busy harvesting crops and preparing their land for winter. As you travel through the countryside, please be mindful of slow-moving farm machinery on the roads.
Some equipment may be large enough to occupy two lanes. When approaching, slow down, stay patient, and give them space—they’re simply moving between fields or driveways.
If you choose to pass, always check for oncoming traffic and ensure it’s safe to do so.
Let’s work together to keep Brant County roads safe for everyone.

New crop wheat looks good…. Too bad it’s from the bottom of a wagon. My yearly rant about cleaning out your wagons before heading to the field. #ontag#harvest25
Farmers, what’s your favorite gift you’ve received from an Ag retail? Have done lots of shirts, hoodies, and hats. Looking for some ideas.
Thanks in advance!
🇨🇦 A titan of soybean breeding! Istvan Rajcan of @uofg has won the @NAPlantBreeders Public Sector Impact Award. 69 varieties. 103 papers. 48 grad students trained. His germplasm feeds Canada and Europe. OAC Wallace is his masterpiece. https://t.co/8nxTiRl5mV
Warren, my experience is to not fill the bin completely. Have some room to go to in case something f***k up in another bin. At least you can keep going while fixing.
A steady stream of corn. First year of no spreaders and 1st year in a long time filing 1 bin at a time. Learning curves to both but I'm liking the way the bins are filling this year. #ontag
Pro tip of day
To check wheel bearings on header cart
Just leave head strapped to cart and lift with combine and drag cart back 2 feet before realizing 😂 #ontag
Nolan approves of this field of OAC Constellation east of Ottawa. Nice to see the partnership between U of G, GFO and SeCan producing competitive winter wheat varieties for Eastern Canadian farmers.
