If I am not wrong GBU kooda idhe mode la panna padam dhaane?? Won't it be a saturated style if he does it again for Daredevil? I thought it would be better if he try a fresh take...
I love Ravindra Jadeja so much like if someone asked me to choose between five million dollars or Taking a selfie with Jadeja , I would choose five million dollars but I really love him so much 🥰❤️
first of all, this comparison is already off.. a batter who carried batting unit across formats for over a decade vs a bowler who is elite and peak whenever he’s available... even if we ignore that, virat has the longevity, consistency, and longer all format resume 🤷🏻
Alright… this is gonna be a slightly long tweet, people who are genuinely concerned about govt branding and taxpayer money, read this fully and tell me your views on replies and quotes..
I can't sit here and say this branding is right or that branding is wrong.. I work in digital marketing, so I'll just share few things I know here....
first of all Govt branding is not new.. Every govt will have a strategy to market its schemes, achievements and its image.. that’s how communication works today..
We can't deny the fact that DMK seriously fumbled this part..
their branding became so aggressive that for many people, govt branding started feeling like political personality branding.. MK Stalin’s face was everywhere.. govt events, ads, hoardings, digital spaces and then came the laptop controversy..
govt funded laptops distributed with Stalin and Karunanidhi’s images and signature printed on them.. students were literally covering and removing those images using chemicals.. that’s the point where branding starts feeling forced..
the bigger accusation was an RTI-reported figure which put DMK govt advertising expenditure at around ₹225 crore between 2021-24.
Then guess how much it would've been during election times.. Every party went aggressive at this election with ads, reels, YouTube, TV, social media, everything.. Personally I couldn't escape the " Stalin thodarattum Tamil nadu vellattum " Ad on YouTube which was sooo forced..
now we come to TVK..
TVK having a strong Instagram presence is NOT some extraordinary thing.. In fact, from a marketing POV, it would be stupid for a new political party not to do exactly that..
this is how this works.. People talk about TVK → those posts get reach → more creators jump in and those creators make more content → more people talk about TVK..
and yes, people will even knowingly post false stuff because TVK content gives them reach.. That doesn't automatically mean every post is govt PR.. This is honestly a very basic thing to understand about social media..
after everything we've seen in Tamil Nadu politics, please understand one thing
This is how govt branding is gonna work hereafter..
The question shouldn't be why they are showing themselves everywhere??
Ask how much taxpayer money is being spent.
ask what exactly is being advertised..
ask whether the claims are true..
ask whether public money is being used for political propaganda..
People asked these questions and I feel that's what caused heavy damage on DMK's branding strategy...
Maybe use your brain before tweeting??!! At least understand the chart before embarrassing yourself with it...
TN was 11th last year and is 10th now.. that’s literally moving UP a spot.. It’s not the disaster you’re all trying so hard to make it look like..
Maybe I should tell you what an actual disaster looked like.. I could ask under which government TN wasn’t even in the top 10, but there’s no point.. people remember those numbers, and they remember why that government was voted out too..
