Am 22. Februar 1974 wurde James Blunt geboren. Er wurde durch "You’re Beautiful" bekannt. Er absolvierte die Royal Military Academy Sandhurst und nahm 1999 am Vormarsch der KFOR-Truppen auf den Flughafen Priština teil. 2002 beendete er seine Dienstzeit als Captain.

APA: Dänemark führt 2026 die Wehrpflicht für Frauen ein. Zudem wird der Grundwehrdienst ab August 2026 von 4 auf 11 Monate verlängert. Dänemark ist nach Schweden das zweite EU-Land, in dem eine Wehrpflicht für Frauen besteht.
