Elliotte Friedman a rapporté hier soir que l'agent de Shane Wright et le DG du Kraken étaient d'accord pour tenter de trouver un nouveau club à Wright, un nouveau départ. L'échanger vers un club qui a une place pour accueillir un jeune centre sur un top 6.

Définitivement, le #CH a besoin d'un 2e centre, jeune si possible. Wright a 22 ans. Il a été sélectionné 4e au total au repêchage de 2022, 3 positions après Juraj Slafkovsky. Et je pense qu'on peut dire aujourd'hui que le CH ne s'est pas trompé.

Wright a un gabarit de 6' et 192 livres, est droitier. Il a récolté 78 points en 169 matchs jusqu'à maintenant dans la NHL. Un "pace" de 38 points sur 82 matchs. Pas très solide à première vue mais son utilisation moyenne depuis le début de sa carrière est de 13:40/match. C'est peu! Et il n'a jamais joué de façon régulière avec un joueur talentueux comme Ivan Demidov.

Ce n'est peut-être pas un candidat idéal mais rendu au 4 Juillet, je ne crois pas que le CH pourra trouver un joueur qui se rapproche du candidat idéal.

Ça demeure un projet, certes. Mais le coût risque d'être raisonnable. Le risque ne sera pas très élevé. Et la récompense pourrait être grande.

Moi, rendu là, je l'essaierais.
