@DanielHussey2 With so much sport on Free To Air or Sky Sports/Premier Sports/TNT, its easy to forget its on as its not visible on the channel listings !
This should come as no surprise.
For the last 10yrs @Punchestown Festival has been growing from the shackles of the economic crash in Ireland.
2026 has proved 2025 was no fluke.
Dont let Friday take away from the rest of the week, they all have their own great vibes!

Punchestown chief executive Conor O'Neill said:
๐ฃ๏ธ "It's unbelievable. I thought with Constitution Hill and the weather the way it was last year, you couldn't get near that again โ everything aligned with the racing and social crowd on that occasion.
"But it's one of those days that seems to be growing and growing. I think the crowd would be among the biggest since before the Celtic Tiger. It's phenomenal.
"It has potential to grow even more, and we have to commit to further investment to ensure the customer experience matches it. That's the big challenge with numbers like this."

@Breadman37@punchestownrace@jim_barbour I have been most days for years but i avoid Friday's.
You can get great value the earlier you buy and can get flexi tickets.
To generalise, serious fans head Tues/Wed/Thurs. Friday is for teenagers young people who are more concerned with booze than racing.
Saturday is family day
@Breadman37@punchestownrace@jim_barbour As i said food vendors set their own prices.
Burgers at Cheltenham were between.ยฃ10.50 to ยฃ16.
You will do well to find anything cheaper at UK festivals compared to Irish.
