The E. McMurray Road / Bebout Road Intersection is now open to all traffic in all directions as of Thursday, September 11, 2025. Occasional lane closures, off the road work, and minor traffic delays may occur in the coming weeks.

The parking lot serving the Municipal Complex is scheduled to be resurfaced starting on Wed, Aug 7th through Wed, Aug 21st. The lot will be resurfaced in two (2) separate phases (halves). All municipal departments will remain open during construction.

Valley Brook Road is closed between Maplewood & Old Washington due to a live wire down. Expect the road to be closed for several hours while the power company addresses the issue.

Peters Township has just been informed that the Bebout Road / Valley Brook Road Roundabout Project is complete and the roundabout is now open and fully functional. No restrictions are in place.

Starting on August 14th, First Energy will have crews along the Montour Trail from Brush Run Rd to the Bethel Park border doing herbicide work near the power/transmission lines.The crews should complete most of the work on Monday; however, they may be in that area until Wednesday

8/2/23 (1:00 p.m.) - Bebout Road is closed from Sugar Camp Road to Justabout Road due to a gas leak.

Justabout Road Closure

(Tuesday, July 18, 2023 – 2:00 p.m.) Currently, Justabout Road is closed to through traffic between Sienna Trail & Hill Place Road due to a vehicle accident and downed power lines. Expect the closure to last through the late afternoon/early evening hours.

Bebout Road is closed from Sugar Camp Road to Justabout Road due to a pipeline emergency.

Route 19 (Washington Road) is shut down in both directions in the 3000 block of Route 19 due to power lines down. Detour is Moccasin to Old Washington (if going southbound) or Valley Brook to Old Washington to Moccasin (if going northbound) until the road reopens.
