We are the Community First Responders for the Petersfield area. Trained by @SCAS999 to provide life saving support until an Ambulance arrives.

Afternoon all! SF222 logged on and responding in Petersfield and surrounding areas. Demand remains very high with @SCAS999 so please bear this in mind. Remember, we now also have an Urgent Care Centre at Petersfield hospital!

Our CFRs come from all walks of life. Teachers, IT specialists, Paramedics and Train Drivers to name a few. We are always looking for additional volunteers so if you have just 20 hours a month to spare and want to make a different, drop us a DM! @SCAS999 @scacharity

#SF224 has been on call most of the day for @SCAS999 and @scacharity . Two calls attended, one of to an unconscious female and another to a concern for welfare. First on scene to the latter one which turned out to be a sad outcome. Backed up by wonderful teams from @SCAS999.

Just the one call attended today to a male having a seizure, backed up by the wonderful @Petersfield29’s co-responder. On scene shortly after @SCAS999 but assistance given with extrication of patient. #OneTeam

Our responders are still being utilised during this unprecedented crisis. Off to collect some extra PPE earlier from Petersfield Ambulance Station and found some of the locals had left a lovely message for the crews. Be safe all! #999Family @SCAS999 @SCACharity

I became involved in a road-side resus attempt on my run home last night.

3 doctors + someone found a defib

5 paramedics arrived + police

We gave our absolute all on the pavement. We didn’t get ROSC.

Out of hospital cardiac arrest is brutal.
