This is extremely concerning to me. A funding body trying to get organisations to police political expression of individual staff members when they’re on their own time outside of work is unacceptable under the protective umbrella of ‘reputational risk’

Helpful post for anyone using freelance labour in the arts except. In addition to everything Lily has said, let’s remember freelancers SHOULD cost you more as it’s a privilege to hire ppl short term with 0 commitment for looking after them or developing them.
