It's like the building is very fun, but the growing is boring and difficult and scary.

Here’s another preview of Petizzy 🐾 my social media app for pet owners, built with React Native and Expo.

For those who’ve been asking, the fonts I’m using are Fredoka and Nunito Sans. I’ve found they work really well for creating a fun, friendly UI, and the bright color palette helps give the app a vibrant personality.

I’d love to hear your thoughts! Any ideas or constructive feedback on the design or overall feel?

My name is Tomi.

About 7 days ago, I started building Petizzy, a mobile app to help me connect with fellow pet owners nearby, without having to deal with complicated social media algorithms.

This afternoon, I released the first closed beta on @GooglePlay for my family and friends to test.

I’m genuinely excited about this project. Funny enough, it’s not even built for profit (at least not yet). I simply saw a problem, and my passion for building and love for coding pushed me to create a solution.

I’ll keep building, keep learning, and keep improving, whether it’s solving problems I personally experience or helping founders around the world bring their ideas to life.
