@Chey_ttv From what I’ve played, if you’re specifically crouch walking when he appears, you don’t scream. The power says “reveals detected survivors”, so I’m curious what “detected” means in terms of mechanics (like visible, standing when he appears, showing the red mist, etc.)
Can you imagine telling someone a week ago that the Streetwise killswitch comments wouldn’t even be the worst thing PR wise to come from BHVR this week. incompetence to the nth level.
@DeadbyDaylight I want our voices to really be heard, because written apologies with no meaning afterwards is getting exhausting to be positive about. There are so many bugs and issues just not resolved despite it being reported for years. I love this game, please.
The whole "why should I care for my opponent's fun" shit is super cringe and I kinda dislike people who use that ideology. We're all humans with fucking basic empathy you don't need to play hard every game and make it miserable for everyone else
I try my best not to complain but being put on the wrong server constantly (Everyone not just me) is leading to some of the most unenjoyable matches where I can't even be upset people are giving up. Not to mention thrill builds on top of this lol
As much as I love this game, this year has been a massive step back in many different areas.
1. The buggiest year of #dbd, only rivaled by launch year.
2. Balance changes without testing them first, because you fail to see the impact they make : I.E- Thrill buff, Billy turn window increase.
3. UE5 has destroyed game performance and it seems like we're just ignoring that now, but I can't even do fun things while streaming the game anymore since for some reason the game can barely keep a stable frame rate.
4. STILL no project health, but we're okay releasing killers in a barely working state like Houndmaster, I'm sure the average player appreciates that more.
5. Somehow still no Backwater Swamp rework that we were supposed to have ages ago, but instead we got a miserable Haddonfield rework, and two brutally unfun variants of Ormond.
6. Some killers have been bugged for so long now, it's not even funny. Spirit is an obvious contender for some of the most frustrating bugs, but you have other killers like Wesker and Artist that were insanely bugged for months after UE5, but due lack of transparency, most of us spent months thinking we magically got terrible at the characters we enjoy playing and nobody told us.
7. Drastic changes to killers without continuing to test them before pushing them live, EVEN when the consensus is the change is really bad, or throwing away months of rework progress since you don't communicate with people in your community that actually give you good unbiased and in depth feedback. I.E. Trickster, Twins, Billy, etc.
8. Lastly (for now), spectator mode has been abandoned and so many creators use it to make content people love, but it IS PLAGUED by bugs that make it almost unusable. Constant crashing, killer animation bugs, disappearing killers, still not more than one spec spot - the most goes on. Show that you care about the creators that host charity events and tourneys for you. While I'm sure they appreciate the IRI Shard gifts, I think every creator and organization would prefer a working /improved spec mode.
9. Wait, I lied, one more. Extreme inconsistency when it comes to what is a bannable offense. There is a major lack of transparency and consistency in your code of conduct and it's getting old.
Okay, I'm done now. I love this game, but I've never felt so much like you guys care more about pumping out licenses for money and not about making the game overall better for everyone.
DbD is far from accessible to new players.
Here let me teach you 276 perks, 38 killers with their own power, addons and counter play that you can’t practice against on your own, 59 maps, and explain to you why majority of the games content is locked behind license paywall.
