@MrRonertSrub@P4Rogue@thedistrictbw Sure but in the event he submits say 3 teams, and Detroit tries to wait it out. Eventually one team shifts focus and acquires someone else, then his value goes down because even less teams are in on him (not to mention horrible look for Detroit)
@MrRonertSrub@P4Rogue@thedistrictbw It would definitely change a lot. If you’re a team interested in Larkin and it gets to December and he’s still not being traded, you start to look at other options, and once they’ve traded for a backup option (even if they’re worse then Larkin) suddenly that’s a team out on him
@MrRonertSrub@P4Rogue@thedistrictbw You can’t wait him out until the trade deadline or else his value craters, so logically letting the clock get closer and closer lets his value go down. Also more teams will sell as the season goes on and teams begin to separate so their will become other options
@pearlosnhlpow@spenny1412 Just so we’re clear on this, Point having a ~ 25% defensive WAR last year is awful, but Larkin also having a ~ 25% defensive WAR is… not awful?
