@cryptoShields @Catholicizm1 That would be like trying to prove Santa clause isn’t real. Sure I can say there isn’t sufficient evidence for his existence, but to prove he doesn’t exist is not feasible. Many atheists take the scientific approach, not saying absolute statement and beliefs coming from evidence.

@cryptoShields @Catholicizm1 Most atheists are simply that, A-theist, having the lack of belief in a god. Most atheists will say, “I do not believe there is sufficient evidence for a god.” Most atheists will not claim there is no god, as how can one prove that something doesn’t exist?

If I told you that your eternal destiny depended on believing Santa is real, you couldn’t simply force yourself to believe it. No matter how hard you tried, you wouldn’t be able to because belief isn’t something you can just switch on.

@cryptoShields @Catholicizm1 If someone believes that God is the only possible uncaused cause, then it’s equally reasonable that the universe itself could be uncaused. Scientists acknowledge that we simply don’t know, whereas Christians claim to know with 100% certainty, even if it’s not able to be proven.
