PFC “Rebel” Shaw shall keep you informed of WL Athletics from a Civil War perspective, all while bringing pain to those who oppose our forces. Go Rebels
The wolf men @Wolves_LHS who hail from the Lincolnton township will be eager. Our preparation shall be great as Commander Ponder rallies the troops. Send word to the townfolk that we must travel well as the men seek our support. Anticipation is great for this battle.

Deborah,
I witnessed a great victory yesterday eve. The night air had a distinct chill for a late seasons battle. Brought back fond memories of those who took the battle field before. The Cavalier men @EastBurkeHigh had no resolve for our attacks.
@wlhsfootball1 advanced through their front lines with relative ease. Twas a grand finish for home battles for those soldiers completing their 4th year. While we rejoice this week's end our joy is short lived for a familiar foe has appeared.
Deborah,
From my vantage point at Leonhardt field the men are poised and we'll prepared for battle. The fight is young but the men look well fit. The Cavalier men @EBHSCavaliers have no front to match our attacks. Wish thou were present to witness. Listen for the cannon.

@DavidaveryDavid Indeed. I was looking at the slate of battles this eve. It appears the wolf men @Wolves_LHS are doing battle with @Maiden_HS. The last time i wrote if East Burke I was dismissed for 7 days. My apologies
Deborah,
Battle draws nigh. The men @wlhsfootball1 shall meet on the battle field against the devil men @Maiden_HS. Tis a special eve for the elder soldiers, those that have persevered for 4 years. Special recognition shall preceed tonight's battle.
These men have battled together for years far beyond the last 4. Shall it be anything but a great honor to send them off this eve with victory? They should know it has been a privilege to gaze upon their accomplishments. May the cannon ring once more this eve.

@wlincolnhs
Hopefully my words don't fall on such sensitive ears in the future and my suspension from writing be further held in silence. It appears as though even the wind has sensitive enemies. The next time it rains it may be the tears of those who oppose me.

@wlincolnhs
Deborah,
A thousand pardons. My lack of correspondences were due to me being detained in a correspondence prison. Mine quill and parchment hath been locked away for 7 complete rotations around the sun. It appears there are those among us who are sensitive to my writings.
The ladies racqueteer squad were victorious in their opening round just this week. The ladies gopher hole unit stumbled or so I'm told but commander Lytton will re-form his lines and be stronger. The @wlhsfootball1 were victorious last week's end and are preparing for the morrow.
While celebration is imminent it is short lived. More preparation is upon us. A new foe is once again upon the horizon.

Rejoice! Victory was restored not 1 eve ago. The enemy with 2 names @NewtonConoverHS held firm for most of the battle but the men were resilient. When the lines needed to hold they were strong.
Little Quartermaster @masonavery13 was able to outflank their positions with assistance from the front. Twas joyous to spectate from afar. The townsfolk, as always, provided unwavering moral support from my vantage point.
Make ready the blackpowder for the cannon shall ring freely this eve. Upon its sound the men will feel their earning and our enemy its defeat.

@wlhsfootball1@wlincolnhs
Training has intensified tenfold since last week's defeat. The men are hungry. Not the same hunger that consumes your wonderful renditions of squirrel and possum but hunger for victory. It dwells deep within each man. Commander Ponder and his men has seen fit to keep focus sharp.
Deborah,
Battle day is drawing nigh. Men from a region with 2 names @NewtonConoverHS shall invade as the sun sets. A scrappy bunch has been suggested by those from the region in which they hail but the men are ready.
Deborah,
This morn as the sun inched above the hills the tradition continued of iron horses encircling the battlefield as a means of bringing good fortune to the battle and battle Queen that shall be named during a momentary ceasefire this eve.
It would bring me good spirits to send memories but alas, I am in no posession of a magic picture box. Any assistance from the good townspeople or the knowledge box would be most welcome.
