One part I thought was huge for Vince but it wasn't highlighted much was when he finally told his mom the truth about the pralines. I wish he was able to say "I'm not everyone." like he wanted. @VVAWTER@JoyceGulley#PAPERBOYPART3
There is so much growth in this part of the book I think. @VVAWTER do you think this is one of the biggest growth spurts our Paperboy goes through in his life? #PAPERBOYPART2@JoyceGulley
@JoyceGulley The comparison between these two moments is a little heartbreaking for me to be honest. To no longer have his comfort pillow be actually comforting... itโs sad.
@Chelsey40133496@JoyceGulley@VVAWTER I was thinking that he was actually pretty smart to use his stutter for himself instead of it being used against him.
@hurstthailey@JoyceGulley@VVAWTER I used to type on my grandparent's old typewriter for fun and now I find myself wishing they still had it so I could type on it again. I remember having so much fun pushing down the buttons. I would always push one letter at a time with my pointer finger :)
@RebeccaKazmier3 @JoyceGulley@VVAWTER I never realized people with a speech impediment might have their own process either! It just goes to show how little we may understand about someone.
@evans_kar@JoyceGulley@VVAWTER I agree, what a great quote. Your question is something I have never really thought about before but now I find myself thinking through what I'm going to say a bit more than usual.
This is the first time I have ever read a novel without commas or quotation marks. It is a very different experience. I don't think I could get away with not using commas, I like to use them too much! @VVAWTER#PAPERBOYPART1@JoyceGulley
