After receiving a letter from Emily, who attends @Pftameside Wednesday sessions, asking about setting up regular football sessions for them, we were only too happy to invite them down to The Tameside Stadium @CurzonAshton for a bit of football and a brew with us (1/2)
The #BigGardenBirdWatch 2024, this morning at Reddish Vale Park. We had a lovely time, and, not to be outdone, a cheeky squirrel decided to get in on the action!😀🐦🐿️

Yesterday the gardening gang visited @RHSBridgewater 🪴
Gardener Charlie, met us at reception and gave us a tour around the garden.
Charlie gave us hints and tips that they use on how to grow winter crops.
It was a fantastic day, we all loved it 💚

We would like to say a huge thank-you to everyone who attended and contributed to our @macmillancancer Coffee Morning today. You helped us to raise a whopping £223.50 for a wonderful and much needed cause.
We think you're amazing ❤️😊👏🎂☕#MacmillanCoffeeMorning
Today Louise, Eric and Daniel have been to @Pftameside to meet with @nwtdt to find out more about all the brilliant work they do and to see how we can get involved. It's so important that self-advocates are involved in delivering training and are supported to have a voice.
Today’s Shadow Partnership Board event with guest speakers Jenny & Carol, Health Inequalities Lead from The Learning Disability Care Hub. We chatted about our experiences with health checks, GP's and health screening.
After scoffing a mini roast chicken dinner, we chucked the bones into a pan with the peelings and ‘boiled up a broth’, which made the most comforting chicken soup 🥣
Our next Winter Warmer is 1st March 4-7pm 🍜

Welcoming @ashtonsixthform Health & Social Care student, Latisha, who’s on a 4wk placement with us.
Patient, enthusiastic, caring and ambitious, Uni is the next step for Latisha, where she’ll study midwifery. And what a cracking midwife she’ll make, she’s an absolute delight !
Practising our twitching skills at Reddish Vale today, ready for the @Natures_Voice#BigGardenBirdWatch
Lots of ducks & geese, but it was the garden birds we were there for. We spotted coal & blue tits, nuthatches, a wren, robins, blackbirds, magpies and a flock of parakeets !!!
Miyah’s nearly at the end of her student placement from @ashtonsixthform Today she led the ‘round robin’ and has grown so much in confidence; this was something that in her own words would have ‘given her a heart attack’, when she first started.
Brilliant work Miyah, keep it up!
