Matthew 6:33
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and then all these things will be given to you.”
This is NOT the prosperity gospel, which says that God will give you everything you think you need or desire. That is not what He’s promising. God is promising to provide for His children what He knows we actually need IF we seek Him first in our lives.
@ChristIsKing_A@faithgracesaved To snatch is to be taken out of by force. The devil himself can’t do that.
However, there’s a major difference between being snatched and walking out by one’s own freewill.
@faithgracesaved You said the key in your last sentence - adhering to the faith. The Bible calls it abiding or remaining in Christ.
Falling away from the faith is all over scripture.
Isaiah 53:11-12
“My righteous Servant will justify many,
and He will carry their iniquities.
12
Therefore I will give Him the many as a portion,
and He will receive the mighty as spoil,
because He submitted Himself to death,
and was counted among the rebels;
yet He bore the sin of many
and interceded for the rebels.”
What an honor to be Jesus’ portion!
Praise report!
Over a year ago, I had an encounter on this platform with an atheist. We built a relationship through messaging, and I felt the need to send him a Bible.
I hadn’t heard from him in the last year, but he just reached out to tell me his life is on the right track and that God is good!
Sometimes, as believers, we can feel discouraged when we don’t see growth from the seeds we’ve planted. I hope this can encourage you to keep on sowing because our God can raise them up in time!
Praise God and may He bless you all abundantly.
