Our Complete Streets Advisory Group (CSAG) held their annual Pre-Season Project Preview Meeting. CSAG is made up of representatives form various sectors of the transportation and infrastructure sector in Pittsburgh and acts as an independent sounding board for our projects.

New steps have arrived! The Englert Street Steps collaboration between the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure and the Department of Public Works wrapped-up just in time for some warmer weather! These steps provide access to the Overbrook Seniors Center!

DOMI's Safe Routes to School program coordinates Walk & Roll to School Day twice a year encouraging students to walk, ride and stay safe when enroute to school.

ICYMI: Walk & Roll 2 School Day went off last week without a hitch (despite the rain)! Our Safe Routes 2 School Program volunteers escorted hundreds of students to school across the city, whether by heel or by wheel!

Schools across Pittsburgh participated today in support of @PghDOMI’s Safe Routes to School initiative, encouraging students to safely bike, walk, roll, and use alternative transportation to get to school.
Tomorrow is Walk & Roll to School Day! If you plan on commuting near a school that is taking part in the day's festivities, then allow yourself extra time for your commute and stay alert for possible short-term road closures!

For years, the Wenzell Avenue Steps have been a challenge for pedestrians and in need of replacement. @PghDOMI, @PGHDPW, Forestry and contractors got it done in just 3 weeks!
The new design straightens the steps out, adds a retaining wall & new steel railing for safety.
New Engage Page dropped! Come learn about the Webster Avenue & Kirkpatrick Street - Traffic Signal Removal. This Spring we're removing the existing traffic signals at this intersection and replacing them with an ALL-STOP stop sign.
