This Memorial Day, police recruits chose to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation, by participating in the “Murph.”
The grueling workout is named for Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2005.
Detectives made an arrest in a May 21, 2026 burglary and sexual assault that occurred in the 3400 block of Parkview Ave.
Charles Wilis, 29, is charged with Burglary, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Indecent Assault, Loitering and Prowling at Nighttime, and Harassment.
The Mounted Unit made this Friday extra special for the kids at Arlington Elementary!
Students had the chance to meet horses Munch and Spirit and learn more about the important work the unit does throughout the city.

The Trauma Survivors Assistance Program hosted the Boys to Men Healing Day & Resource Fair, teaching life skills & community development to 24 youth aged 10–18. Attendees joined workshops led by male mentors & connected with resource fair vendors.

PBP Homicide Detective Daniel Zeltner was honored at the 2026 graduation for The Neighborhood Academy.

who were suited up to go swimming, only to learn the pool was closed.
He drove by them with lights and sirens on and added to the boy’s collection of police patches, which he proudly displays on a sash.

Training Academy recruits performed community service on the North Shore clearing trash and tidying up the LEOs Memorial to ensure the site properly honors local heroes for today's National Peace Officers Memorial Day.
