@JamesAlanAnslow whilst presenting at conf a picture of the task forces return home, a 'military' researcher (a civilian) suggested everyone must have been really happy. Saddest day of my life, due to those we left behind. Assumptions like this can lead to arbitrariness in military research

@JamesAlanAnslow The academic world's way of Reproducing symbolic power (via symbolic violence) ie unpublished research is not research: research based on arbitrary 'normalised' dispositions is research - develops an argument that in the end ALL research become arbitrary..whilst power is kept.
