Peeps! Happy Thursday!
I've always considered myself a massive FF fan, but up until recently I'd only played 7, 10 and bits of 8, 9, 13 & 15.
So I'm on a bit of a mission to change that, starting with mainline entries.
I've joined this challenge for a bit of fun: https://t.co/dDycyvsqzG
It'll take me years because I'll still play other games as well, but its something to aim for long term.
Come and join me!
What I find hilarious is that Sony treats physical media like a huge burden because it’s “not profitable enough,” yet raising PS Plus prices is somehow okay? Spare me that bullshit.
They ignored everyone who spoke up about physical media no response, no acknowledgment, just silence then dropped the PS Plus games of the month like, “Lookie! Your new monthly games are here! Please stop asking questions.” As if that magically makes the concerns disappear.
Stop treating your customers like wallets and numbers on a spreadsheet. The people who have supported PlayStation for decades deserve better than this horseshit piss.
@EJCrumbs@OlDirtyBri@PlayStation@Sony Don’t worry, he didn’t even read the op properly whilst wading in with insults. That or he just didn’t understand, your guess which 😅
Rearranged my setup over the weekend
> PC back as main
> Double dipped Summer Sale games that I now refuse to play on *that* platform
> Setup SD docks for casual play
If you're forcing me to digital, I'll go where I feel most comfortable doing so
Fuck @PlayStation Fuck @Sony
I think I'm right in saying that if Intergalactic gets delayed in to 2028, it means Naughty Dog won't have released a new physical game in the whole PS5 era.
Crazy.
@PlayStation Wireless fightstick? More like spineless corpo. Feel sorry for everyone involved in that project. They are the sacrificial lamb for the next tsunami of criticism towards you, Sony. All we care about is that you reverse the decision to strip everyone of ownership over their games.
@EJCrumbs Yeah, I also think there was probably a lot of handshakes and promises made as part of the mergers and acquisitions which led to far too much middle management. Hopefully Asha can fix this (and I'm guessing already is with some of the layoffs).
XBOX streamlining was awful but necessary.
If they lock in on winning IPs, drop the price of hardware to rebuild user base, move Game Pass towards a cheaper library of historical content, à la EA Play, and commit to physical, they could genuinely go on a generational run.
