Today, I led GDARD and SAPS in conducting a joint livestock auction roadblock at Tarlton/Sterkfontein as part of Gauteng’s FMD Rapid Response Strategy.

The operation focused on raising awareness about Foot and Mouth Disease, strengthening livestock movement compliance, and promoting animal traceability to protect our agricultural sector.
