A PhD program should form scholars, not wear them down. After reflecting on Howard's HELPS Preview Experience, I wrote about why community, mentorship, and belonging should be central to doctoral education rather than optional.

Just finished #TheNightingale by @Kristin_Hannah1, and it left me undone.

Just finished reading *On Earth Weβre Briefly Gorgeous* by Ocean Vuong and I highly recommend it! π This book is a poignant exploration of racial identity, class, masculinity, addiction, the impact of the Vietnam war, family, and love. πβ¨
10/10. I recommend this fantastic book by @danieloblack. This novel is written as a love letter from a father who struggled to love his gay son. It is filled with pain, sorrow, regrets, and love. I finished the entire novel in one sitting, itβs that great!
@NatGeo#Queens narrated by the high Queen herself, @ImAngelaBassett, is so amazing!! Give her all the awards!! Such a good show! β€οΈππππ¦β€οΈπ

"If the potential for criminal liability is taken off the table, wouldn't there be a significant risk that future presidents would be emboldened to commit crimes with abandon while they're in office?" -Justice #KetanjiBrownJackson#SCOTUS
