Just realized Kucherov is up for a new contract at the end of next season. He’ll be 34 to start, not sure if Tampa will be comfortable paying this but I think he asks $15.5M x 4.

Leafs still haven’t found their 2C which has been a problem since year 5 or 6 of the original JT contract. Which shows how difficult it is to acquire one for sure especially when you’ve spent so many assets on acquiring 3rd and 4th liners.

My guess is 2027-28, our 2C is TLK.
