@0R0CHI_ @CentroLeaks If PLA felt boring, I would honestly suggest revisiting its lore. A lot of it clicks only when you connect the Gen 4 dots. Bulbapedia or Lore Keeper Toby’s videos break it down well. Missing that context makes the story seem shallow when it really isn't.

@0R0CHI_ @CentroLeaks Reducing PLA’s ancestor links to "same haircuts" misses the point. They tie into its themes, conflict & payoff especially with Volo & the Sinnoh lore. Z-A themes are fine,but they don't carry same narrative weight. Calling PLA boring ignores how much it builds toward its climax.

@emperor__east @CentroLeaks It might sound harsh, but when valid criticism keeps coming from outside the fanbase and people still defend obvious flaws, it does make the community look unserious. Calling that out isn't silly, it’s pointing out how the reaction looks to everyone else.

@Co88Kev @CentroLeaks That's exactly the point. PLA's story works because of the gen 4 lore and the ancestor connections. It rewards paying attention and knowing the series. Z-A doesn't have that depth, it leans more on surface mechanics and nostalgia, which is why the backlash exists.

@bradboxa @CentroLeaks Flashier doesn't mean higher quality. Arceus delivered lore, themes, structure and payoff. The backlash to Z-A isn't random hate, it's about design and direction. Criticising that isn't attacking people it's judging the game.

@TakenStorm27 @CentroLeaks If Legends Arceus felt underwhelming to you, did you even play gen 4? A lot of its story hits because of those connections & lore drop. Saying Z-A is better because it feels relatable or nostalgic is fine, but that’s preference, not depth. That's what people are criticizing.

@emperor__east @CentroLeaks It doesn’t need to be "serious" for criticism to matter. People pay for these games and care about the franchise. Saying "it’s not that deep" is just a way to avoid admitting there are real problems others can clearly see.

@tooftwap @CentroLeaks I criticised people defending the game despite its flaws, not people for liking it. Calling it a kids game doesn't excuse bad design or public embarrassment. Pokémon has done better before, so scrutiny is earned. Mockery isn't a counterargument.

You can form your own opinion, but pretending widespread consistent criticism has no basis isn't being independent, it's being dismissive. That mindset is how franchises stagnate.

@LukeBaxter6337 @CentroLeaks Having an opinion doesn't make it immune to criticism. Opinions can still be poorly reasoned or factually wrong. Saying "it’s my opinion" doesn't excuse bad takes or remove responsibility when those takes contribute to the series declining.

@dazpool @CentroLeaks "give it 3 years" only fits reactionary hate. PLA earned praise with varied locations,ride Pokémon,regional variants & evos and ancestor lore. Z-A is a tiny Lumiose with bad visuals,no bike,clunky battles,only 3 XY character returns, lazy mega evo designs. That’s the criticism

@Rod_MDO @CentroLeaks Obviously within the pokemon community it's all sunshine & roses cuz of nostalgia bias like the poketubers are bound to lie about it cuz it's their job but the moment you step out of there & look at reviews of creators from other genres that's when you learn the harsh reality

@ThePokeRaf These poketubers desperate for views are literally finding any damn excuse atp to spread the Ash is coming back propaganda which would ruin the entire purpose of him retiring in the first place which was to finally get a good plot that Horizons has successfully delivered

@QueensMWDT @CentroLeaks I would love a Unova remake of Legends Kyurem too but the Blueberry Academy dlc does make it too recent to be revisited again. But hey leaks say we are revisiting Galar in next Legends game so who knows at this point. Then we have gen 1-4 explored in a single game then gen 11
