The Centre for Research in Environmental Law and Sustainability (CRELS), in collaboration with the Legal Aid Clinic and Pro Bono Club of the School of Law, Galgotias University, organized a two-phase awareness drive on 5th June 2025 to mark World Environment Day under the theme “Ending Plastic Pollution Globally.” The campaign included a vibrant awareness march and a paper bag-making workshop promoting eco-friendly practices, followed by a compassionate ecosystem welfare initiative that provided clean water and food for stray animals and birds across campus. The initiative demonstrated how legal education and community responsibility can work hand in hand to inspire sustainability, kindness, and active environmental stewardship.
