The fascinating Anke Helfrich belongs to the exclusive elite of pianists who have contributed a new kind of energy to jazz music. Winner of the European Jazz Competition (1996) and an Echo Jazz Award (2016), she has been described as “one of Europe’s best female jazz pianists”.
