You are allowed to feel and react any way you want. But remember, facts don't care about feelings. Once you make everything about feelings, stupidity sets in..
Meanwhile a perfect example of Nigeria Social media.. everyone are saints and good Nigerians over here.... If everyone are good and saint like media portraying everyone to be. Who are the kidnappers, Armed robbers, rapists and many more?
@DHKRULLAH Who do you expect him to bow to before now?
Since Andy became an MP, the pressure on him has doubled because many MPs are backing him. The level of support he is getting is far greater than what Wes and Ange had.
90% of the people who japada did so because they could not find a legal way to remain in the country. But they have to brand it as japada.
If you follow anyone’s advice online when making life changing decisions, I think fuu should be your first name.
There's a couple on Tiktok that advised their followers one time to "japada" to Nigeria because they went back to Nigeria from the UK, They eventually japa to Canada lol. If you go follow the trend of "Japada, there's love at home" you come leave UK go Nigeria, oju e maa bo.
It always saddens me when I see immigrants committing crimes of any kind. We should be people who promote peace, respect the law, and contribute positively to the communities and neighbourhoods we live in.
Instead, some people choose to commit terrible and senseless crimes, and unfortunately, their actions affect how others see the rest of us.
They are making things harder for us who are simply trying to work hard, live peacefully, enjoying safe neighborhoods.. I mean, they are making things really hard for us…. Otisumi 🤦🏽♂️
There’s a Nigerian adage that says the guest you wanted to roast and eat is now rubbing petrol on their own body.
This adage sadly captures what is happening in Belfast today.
How do you flee your home country, seeking refuge, only to publicly attempt to slaughter someone?
@olazeeks@Oluomoofderby I pity the people who raised you and believe you are a useful product of society. Everything is always reduced to tribalism for some of you.
Meanwhile, you people cry about racism when it comes from whites...
Everyone should do better. Nigerians should do better.
The police have also arrested this Nigerian who made an alarming post about Abuja’s security, spreading fear among citizens. By arresting him, the police have sent the clear message that reckless users of the social media won’t go Scot free.
The IGP crack team has arrested Ifechukwu Dennis who originated the fake voice that he passed on to his gullible targets as President Tinubu’s voice. Dennis was arrested in Benin. The police will issue an official statement.
I honestly struggle to understand the purpose of having a Nigerian Embassy in the UK @Nigerialondon when Nigerian citizens in distress are unable to get timely assistance in urgent situations.
As someone who does not work at the Embassy, yet is often looked upon as a point of contact for Nigerians in the UK, I have had to step back from offering support in certain cases simply because they are beyond my control and require official intervention.
It has been repeatedly stated that the Embassy urgently needs to establish reliable communication channels, including a working telephone line and an accessible email system that is actively monitored.
These are basic requirements for any functioning diplomatic mission, especially one serving a large diaspora community.
Every day, new cases and emergencies arise, yet there appears to be little or no improvement in how these issues are handled or how affected citizens can reach the Embassy for assistance.
This situation needs urgent attention and meaningful action. Nigerians in the UK deserve accessible, responsive, and accountable consular support.
You are wrong.
People are not lazy because they complain about a poor system. I paid for my passport renewal last month. I followed the process. The earliest appointment date available to me is the end of November. I also tried the contactless option, and it tells me I am ineligible.
How exactly is that laziness?
A passport renewal is a basic government service. People should not need months of planning, personal connections, or luck just to renew an existing passport.
The fact that you have helped a few people successfully does not mean the system is working properly. If thousands of people are facing the same frustrations, then the problem is not laziness. The problem is the system.
