For those who don't know ...
The First Council of Nicaea in 325 AD was convened to settle bitter theological disputes tearing the early church apart, most notably the Arian controversy, which questioned whether Jesus was fully divine and co-eternal with God the Father, or a created being. Exact same dispute the Mormons bring up again.
Hundreds of bishops gathered, debated fiercely, and ultimately produced the Nicene Creed, a concise statement of faith that declared Christ to be “of the same substance” (homoousios) as the Father, establishing the doctrine of the Trinity. This creed, later refined at Constantinople in 381, became the litmus test for Christianity: groups or teachings that rejected it (including various forms of Arianism, and later non-Trinitarian views) were branded heretical and excluded from what the imperial church defined as “Christian.”
In essence, a council of bishops on recently liberated from prosecution for their Christian beliefs, decided the boundaries of acceptable belief rather than leaving it solely to individual conscience or scripture alone.
These are literally our first four articles of faith.
We are a Christian church. We believe in Jesus Christ. By any measure, that is enough.
Also, who decides if we are Christian or not? Is there some council or Supreme Court that decides this? If there is, I wish you would point me to them.
@snowyxq1 Not exactly like that
Vance needs 27 GOP Senators to replace Thune.
They're not even trying. Ergo., more than 27 GOP Senators are secretly on Thune's side.
@dandinohill It's not Thune, is it?
If it was Thune, he would have been removed.
He's just their face man.
Has anyone actually called for him to be replaced? Trump? Vance? Johnson? Other GOP members? They need 5, don't have any.
It's a show.

Born and raised by uncles and grandfathers who all worked at Oldsmobile. Couple years back I drove a Lincoln to the family gathering and my uncle made a comment, and I said Ford/Lincoln didn't kill Oldsmobile, General Motors did.
Besides, pretty sure that Nissan was made in the USA. 😏
Only a Democrat would stop recess appointments, block secure election laws, and fund the Taliban.
Make no mistake about it... @LeaderJohnThune is a Democrat.

When it comes to voting, I don't trust my neighbors at all.

No I wasn't watching, but I would watch it now.
Got my US Navy DD 214, in September '86, with two sea service ribbons and a Navy Expeditionary Service, hadn't rebuilt my, "watch TV" by '89, yet. I'm not dissing, but four years of not watching the boob-tube, took a minute to get it back 😏
You're a speculating on the age of the universe making it longer than it it's currently measured...
Current speculated actual measured age of the universe would say once, if any, not fourth.
How many times can a sun explode and the atoms reaccumulate to form a new sun then explode again, then accumulate again, explode again, that's going to take more than 15 billion years.
