@Crissabella1@ndamebusiness It seems it will eventually become the norm to do that, however more professional announcements allow the message to come across clearer.
@Crissabella1@ndamebusiness It depends on the accessibility of the shop, I would purchase at a shop if it is close by. But if they are an hour or so away, shopping online can be more convenient.

@hannahepotts@ndamebusiness Social media can easily make you compare yourself to others. Whether it is how successful you are, your appearance, personality, how many followers/likes you have or your general lifestyle. All this can be detrimental on your mental health.

@amelialcole3 Social media decreases our face to face communication skills meaning its easier for us to become more anti social and makes it harder to have more meaningful relationships. @ndamebusiness
Hereβs a topical discussion for you guys. This article states that tiktok has take user information, without allowing a setting for them to βopt outβ. Has data access of apps and social media gone too far? #ndamebusiness https://t.co/tGcfAkO5E5
@lucymoran1@amazon@eBay@ndamebusiness I agree! With websites like that I am much more likely to impulse buy as well. Also, nowadays the shipping is so fast it can be just as efficient.
@lucymoran1@ndamebusiness Yes, but from personal experience I find I like the item less when I see it IRL as it is among plenty of others. Which in the end deters me from buying it. It can be more efficient from the companies POV as they are able to manipulate the way the consumer views the product.
Online shopping allows you to hunt for the cheapest deals, compare prices and gives you a vast variety of choice. All without leaving the comfort of home!

@AlexVentouras@lucymoran1@ndamebusiness There is a lot that comes into play with a situation like that e.g. the employees reach and how private their account is. I agree with the freedom of speech part but to some extent.
Should businesses monitor their employees social media and have some control over what the individual posts on their personal profile?

@lucymoran1@ndamebusiness What if an employee posts negative content about the workplace/company - should they be able to get that taken down? Or if what the employee posts is against what the company is about?
