THE ENTIRE @HomeAffairsSA LEGAL TEAM RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS CONCOURT DISASTER NEEDS TO BE PUT ON BLAST! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK DID I JUST READ?! You went before the highest court in the land with unsupported allegations, botched basic appeal procedures, missed deadlines by OVER TWO MONTHS and didn't even bother applying for condonation?! Meanwhile, Scalabrini came armed with evidence from affected individuals, experts and communities. WHERE WAS YOUR EQUIVALENT EVIDENCE?! Was your entire legal strategy “TRUST ME, BRO”?! Even the @ConCourtSA described your handling of the case as “a lamentable display of remarkable gross ineptitude and egregious laxity” and said the matter was handled “procedurally in an atrocious fashion.” THE JUDGES THEMSELVES SAID THAT! They further condemned your “gross laxity and disturbing ineptitude.” How does an entire government department with legal professionals paid from the public purse make such elementary mistakes in a case of this magnitude?! THIS IS A DISGRACE! WHO IS BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE?!
