@jjohnstonmezzo I see the argument, “receives the most funding” quite a bit, but it never seems to take into account a per capita of employed person… opera costs more because it uses a higher number of people than other art forms per production. That is a metric we don’t see.

a) You’re hearing about them because they’re famous; Joe Bloggs from the next town over isn’t going to get much publicity.
b) Because they have an amount of celebrity, they have greater opportunity - more money, more access, etc.

@scotrail What’s the point in having the windows on the train locked “because we have air conditioning” if you don’t actually turn the aircon on? On a 27° afternoon (outside, not in a metal tube in the sun… considerably hotter onboard)
