Prices in the UK just feel completely made up now.

How does a weekend in England cost £700 when you can fly abroad for less?

A return train to London is £160.

The same house that rented for £600 is now £1,200.

A full tank of fuel is over £100.

Car insurance goes up 50% despite the same car, no claims and nothing changing.

£100 in the supermarket somehow gets you two bags of shopping.

And we're all just expected to accept this as normal?

How did we get to the point where being ripped off became part of everyday life?

This is guaranteed to make you laugh. After George Floyd and BLM a government department in the U.K. decided it wanted to make more diverse hires and fully implement DEI. But they found that their Numerical reasoning (maths) test was getting in the way as not enough were passing it…..so they scraped the test to enable them to hire more diverse employees. Guess which departed bit was?….The Treasury🤣🤣 The department than relies on mathematical modelling, economics, statistics probably more than any other decided it was a great idea not to bother checking if their employees could do basic adding up 😳 Total madness. Hundreds of people in work clothes, silent, eyes down, packed onto a delayed train home after giving the best 10 hours of their day to someone else's company. Nobody's talking. Everyone's quietly working out how little of the evening is left once they've cooked, washed up and prepped for tomorrow.
