The last four words of this tweet are belied by the rest of the tweet. If you're using every lever of power you have to stop the party that wants to govern, you're admitting you're the one shutting it down.
@PGATOUR might want to check in with whoever is writing your betting previews… seem to remember Jordan Spieth having a slightly better finish at The Open then 2nd in 2021. Guess recency bias is real for @PGATOUR Cc: @ziregolf@ForePlayPod@PGATOURComms
@rjcaster 100%… worst part is we have the Giants Thursday night… so Jerry will give them all a vote of confidence Friday morning after we sneak out a 10pt win 🤦♂️
@acaseofthegolf1 One might also wonder, how do golfers achieve “top tier” status… or do players just get anointed in a preseason ceremony that I keep missing on golf channel?
I'm a non-religious Jew.
When those who call for "One solution, intifada revolution" they call for not only the destruction of Israel, but the death of Jews around the world.
Those who shout this phrase believe our deaths would be justified and righteous as we have brought it on ourselves (and if they don't believe this they should find another phrase to chant). Whether we live in Colorado or Israel or New Jersey or France. Whether we are believers or non-believers. It is because we were born Jewish.
They do not mean to spare me. Or my children. Or Jews who are half or a quarter or practicing or non-practicing. Or feel guilty about being Jewish and disavow their Jewishness. Or simply don't identify as Jewish. Or condemn Israel and think it should not exist or simply have no opinion at all.
If you are Jewish you are included in that chant.
Do not fool yourself.
To be clear, I'm not arguing that citizens who chant this here in America should not be allowed to do so. But I'm definitely not feeling that there is a critical mass of people willing to call this view out as fringe. As dangerous. As wrong-headed. It's a view granted credence time and time again as these rallies spread. It is being mainstreamed in real time.
And when Jewish students must seek safety in a locked room it goes beyond free speech.
If we can't come together to say NO to this call to eliminate, to murder, to commit a genocide of what amounts to .2% of the world's population, I don't know where we go.
I find myself in despair. Never again is now.
