@plymouthcc can something be done about the mess in the allotments behind Norfolk Road? Seriously overgrown and now being used as a dumping area, we've submitted an online complaint but never heard back.
This is quite obviously a scam account, I had 4 like my exchange with the official @JustEatUK account, all with the JustEat logo but suspicious X handles
@JustEatUK hi, is there any way I can get help with an order please? The restaurant has confirmed my order is ready for collection for an hour now but still showing no assigned driver in the app? AI chat in app not too helpful either.
A responce
West Ham United season ticket holders have taken due note of the recent communication issued by the Club in reply to supporter representatives on the Fan Advisory Board. We welcome dialogue in principle, yet we cannot accept the suggestion that the concerns of supporters have been answered. On the contrary, much of what has been set out is misleading, incomplete or evasive. It gives the impression of reassurance whilst avoiding the central truth. We therefore feel compelled to reply with clarity and precision, addressing the points made in the Club’s statement and setting out our position as loyal supporters who attend faithfully, invest financially and care deeply about the wellbeing of West Ham United.
The Club begins by reminding us of the UEFA Europa Conference League triumph of 2023 and of three consecutive seasons in European competition. We, as supporters, were rightly proud of that victory and those campaigns. They brought joy and a sense of history. Yet to continually cite past achievements whilst ignoring present failures is to seek cover where none exists. We are now two seasons on from Prague, and the decline in results and performances is undeniable. Pride in the past cannot excuse stagnation in the present. Supporters will not be placated by nostalgia when the reality before us each week is disappointment and decline.
The statement further claims that significant sums have been invested in the football operation, both in the acquisition of players and in the expansion of recruitment structures. Supporters cannot accept such assertions without transparency. Figures are presented in headline form, yet the context is absent. Gross spending, player sales, wage commitments and fees to agents are omitted. The absence of this detail leaves only a distorted picture. Money spent without wisdom is no proof of ambition. Supporters call for full disclosure of the financial reality so that claims of investment may be properly judged rather than recited for effect.
The Club then concedes that results and performances have not met the required standard. We note this concession but cannot accept it without accountability. Who is responsible for the poor decisions that have led to our present predicament. What has changed to prevent repetition. The statement does not answer these questions, and until it does supporters cannot be reassured. Mere acknowledgement of failure is hollow if it is not accompanied by explanation and responsibility.
The appointment of Graham Potter
The Club presents the appointment of Graham Potter as the foundation of a new direction. This is a claim which supporters cannot accept. Appointment alone does not make a man a saviour. Since he assumed charge, West Ham United have not secured a single home victory, the last win at London Stadium occurring on 2 February 2025. During this period the Club has conceded more goals than any other side in the Premier League. The wider football community has seen what supporters know with painful clarity, that the team under Potter is rudderless.
The recent match against Spurs laid bare once more his inability to adapt when his system falters. This is not an isolated failing but a recurring pattern that began last season and has continued unchecked. It is, moreover, the very reason for which Chelsea dismissed him. He was unable then, as he is unable now, to alter the course of a match once momentum turned against his side. To imagine that the outcome will be different at West Ham United is to indulge a dangerous illusion.
It is not only supporters who hold this view. The national football media, together with the wider English football community, have made it plain that Potter is at the root of West Ham United’s present malaise. Week after week, respected journalists and commentators identify his lack of tactical acumen and his failure to inspire resilience as the decisive causes of our decline. They further note that the Board, in appointing and persisting with him, share responsibility for this continuing drift. The weight of opinion is clear: the manager and the Board together have created the present crisis.
If Graham Potter remains in charge, West Ham United will be led inexorably toward the Championship. Such a prospect is intolerable, and for the good of the Club his removal is essential. The Board must accept its share of responsibility for appointing him and must now show the resolve to correct that mistake without delay.
The Academy and the pathway
The Club’s statement makes much of the Academy and its importance to our identity. Supporters take immense pride in this tradition, but fine words must be matched by action. In recent years the pathway to the first team has too often been blocked by signings that contradict the stated philosophy. Opportunities for our brightest young players have been limited. Unless measurable targets are set and met, the rhetoric of integration will remain empty. Supporters demand that the Academy pathway be demonstrated on the pitch, not in press releases.
Facilities and infrastructure
The Club draws attention to improvements at Rush Green and other training facilities. We do not dispute that certain works have taken place, but to present modest upgrades as competitive advantages is misleading. Other clubs have invested at a scale that has delivered facilities of the highest standard. West Ham United must do the same. Supporters call for the publication of a detailed roadmap, complete with costed milestones, that will show how all training facilities, for men, women and Academy players alike, will be brought up to the level expected of a club of this size.
The London Stadium
The subject of the London Stadium is addressed in the Club’s communication. We note the references to fan zones, tifos and other initiatives. Whilst these efforts are not unwelcome, they do not create atmosphere. True atmosphere is a product of performances on the pitch, of football played with conviction, intensity and purpose. To suggest otherwise is to place responsibility upon supporters instead of addressing deficiencies within the team. Atmosphere cannot be engineered by display; it must be inspired by football.
Engagement with supporters
The Club describes its engagement with the Fan Advisory Board as positive. We note that this meeting was convened only after public pressure and a formal letter. That is not the conduct of genuine partnership. Supporters require regular, structured engagement with published minutes and measurable actions. Anything less is cosmetic public relations rather than authentic dialogue.
Financial strategy and ambition
The Club asserts that it is financially stable and compliant with Premier League regulations. We recognise the need for prudence, but compliance is a baseline requirement, not an achievement to parade. Supporters wish to understand how the Club intends to be competitive whilst remaining within the rules. Vague references to stability are insufficient.
Finally, the Club sets out its ambitions of top half finishes, respectable cup runs and the occasional European campaign. Supporters reject such limited aspiration. With our resources, our revenue and our immense support, West Ham United must aim higher. Ambition must be defined by measurable targets: by points, by goals, by consistency and by intensity. Vague aspirations are no substitute for concrete objectives.
Conclusion
Therefore, as season ticket holders and loyal supporters, we call upon the Board to adopt the following course of action:
• The immediate removal of Graham Potter and the appointment of a Head Coach capable of restoring purpose, authority and ambition.
• Publication of the Club’s footballing strategy, with clear accountability for decision making and recruitment.
• Full transparency in financial matters, including transfer expenditure, wages and player sales.
• A facilities roadmap with costed milestones for men, women and Academy squads.
• A genuine stadium improvement plan addressing the fundamental matchday experience.
• Structured quarterly forums with supporters, with published minutes and demonstrable follow up.
We remain proud of the heritage of West Ham United and devoted to the players who wear the shirt. We will continue to support them unconditionally, but our loyalty must not be taken for granted. To persist on the present course is to invite relegation. For the sake of the Club, for its history and for its future, we state with unity and without hesitation: Graham Potter must go.
@KevinSladeAOFP 2/2 of the problem and fans will be happier, a large part of our squad also don't look like they know how to play as a team, but 3 separate blocks of players, there is no cohesion which adds to the frustration and appearance of a team playing together ⚒️
@KevinSladeAOFP I think a lot of the frustration from our fan base is not on the style of football, but the lack of pace moving the ball through midfield into an attacking position and having a goal threat, with our attacking options we struggle to create chances and score, overcome that 1/2
